Zach caught this tuna while
striped bass fishing this year. He made a cast into a school of 60-70 tuna and
got it on his first cast.
It took 2 hours and 45 minute to get it in the boat on 25 lb test line.
This trip will be different then most of our other trips. We will be trolling be Tuna, Striped Bass and Blue Fish all at the same time. The equipment that I use, will and have caught all three types of fish. We also will be doing some casting if the schools of Tuna are on top feeding. Weather permitting we will go out as far as Stellwagan Bank. The fish in the picture was caught just 5 miles out. September and early October are great times to catch Tuna.
